I began teaching yoga in 2015. I had practiced as a child, and even though I didn't have any understanding that I could put into words, I knew something was happening.
I have trained extensively in a variety of styles, including Ashtanga Vinyasa, Mandala Vinyasa, Yin, Forrest & Rocket. I have been so lucky to teach in some dreamy places - Indian beaches, Nicaraguan and Costa Rican jungles, and sweeping Meditteranean landscapes.
My style is very choice based - in a world where many of our choices are restricted, a class can be an expansive space to explore meeting your own needs. I work with trauma informed principles, as inclusivity and safety are deeply important in a practice as vulnerable and embodied as yoga. I believe in freedom, expression and playfulness. Curiosity and sensation are much sweeter guides than discipline and expectation - and we all deserve a little more sweetness.
